gremplin“Gummy Toadz against Universe Foam, like this one and #5030, take on a unique look compared to the rest of the collection -- they gain a nice brightness that plays off whatever mood the specific toad is putting out. In this case, a gruff Chad of a toad floats peacefully at the end of time. The Universe Foam background came from a custom toad for an early supporter that was into Sailor Moon, and these colors with a bubbly texture I made reminded me of the idea of Quantum Foam, which seemed like a good substrate for a toad. It also spawned the regular Grey Foam, which is just a sort of static buzzing, an opposite to the happy popping Universe Foam.”
